DASK / Natural Disaster Insurance

Compulsory Earthquake Insurance provides coverage within the limits specified in the policy against material damages directly caused by earthquakes and resulting fires, explosions, tsunamis, and landslides to insured buildings.

It is mandatory for all residential buildings and workplaces located under residential buildings.

Policy coverage amounts are determined annually within specified limits based on the square meters of your building.

  • Foundations
  • Main Walls
  • Common Walls Separating Independent Sections
  • Garden Walls
  • Retaining Walls
  • Ceilings and Floors
  • Chimneys
  • Stairs
  • Elevators
  • Landings
  • Corridors
  • Roofs
  • Additional building parts similar in nature to the above

When determining coverage amounts, it is important to include all parts listed above in addition to the gross square meters. In the event of damage, all parts listed below are covered by the DASK policy for earthquake-related damage costs.

The prices of Compulsory Traffic Insurance vary according to the insurance company's pricing policy, vehicle age, brand, model, and the driver's age and experience. You can get the best price from 16 different companies by contacting us immediately.
Non-earthquake-related damages are not covered by earthquake insurance. Building damages caused before the earthquake or due to other reasons are not covered under Compulsory Earthquake Insurance. Also, if the housing area, building location, or building age information provided during premium calculation is incorrect, no payments will be made under the Earthquake Insurance. After full damage compensation to the residence caused by an earthquake, DASK coverage ends. Partial damage compensations reduce the coverage proportionally but maintain validity.
The address code application helps you complete all insurance steps related to your residence quickly and conveniently. Every residence in Turkey is assigned a unique 10-digit address code, which functions like an ID number, allowing quick identification during insurance transactions. Since these codes are officially assigned by the government, they carry an official status and reduce the need for paperwork and memorizing information. This digital system also simplifies online transactions for your residence.
